Home Information Packs
Selling?
If you have a property to sell and you are thinking of placing this on the open market with an Estate Agent, or even advertise the property on a Private basis, you must obtain a Home Information Pack ("HIP") containing the following:
- Index
- Sales Statement
- Official registered entries and filed plan
- Local Search
- Drainage Search
- Energy Performance Certificate
If you are to market the property through an Estate Agent, your Agent will require confirmation that a HIP has been ordered.
We can obtain a HIP for you subject to receiving your payment. If you would like us to obtain a HIP please contact us on the telephone number provided below.
Buying?
If you are buying a property that has the benefit of a HIP and we will receive a copy of it, it may not be necessary to obtain Drainage and Local Searches as these will be contained within the HIP. However, depending on the age of the Searches and your lender's (if any) criteria, we may be obliged to repeat the searches.
